PROTEST/COUNTER-PROTEST on the Capitol Mall. ... This is getting to be a habit. Potty-mouth lefties vs. the occasional Lizaroid. What more could you want? Well ... you'd want more I'd be bound. However, Julia and I are going to a special fundraiser tonight and I won't be able to process this stuff as quickly as I would like, so I'll just leave you with these for now. Two rallies ... one Capitol. Two worlds. Here is a photo [left] from the pro-Israel rally just up the street. I'll be posting more on that later. Nicer folk. Plus the observation that, no matter what the media may be saying about the pro-terrorist rally on the Capitol South Lawn today ... and I hasten to admit that I haven't heard anything ... the attendance was ~ 1000 tops. And I have the photos to prove it. As you will no doubt see later. Plus, of course, some video.

Why do we care and should our Historic and Religious Ties to Israel continue?

Answers get tougher and tougher, as the more murky the issues become. Liberals of all kinds, including America’s Jews, turn their backs on Israel, while America’s conservative Christians lock arms with their Jewish brethren in Israel. It’s all part of 60-65 years of frequently bad and often inconsistent policy by the US and the UN and the cancerous erosion of conservative religious and political principles domestic and worldwide.

Why do we care and should our historic and religious ties to Israel continue?

I cannot speak for all others, but I have 2 points that guide me in this.

(1) Our Judaic-Christian religious principles and historic ties to Israel.

(2) Sworn destruction of all Jews and Americans and anyone else who stands in the way of 1,600 years of radical fascist Islamic hatred and resolve to eradicate all infidels including you and me.

The Allied resolve in World War 2 was the last decisive war. As a result of a no-win policy toward war, the decline of conservative principles in the US and the long time questionable motives of the UN, we sit here in an undeclared World War 3 and few are willing to sound the alarm, collect their senses and unify against a common enemy, and decisively defeat them once and for all.

We, in the U.S. and Israel, have plenty on which to base our continuing ties, but most of all we share the same God. Our common desires for freedom, liberty and justice firm-up our need to be joined in common cause and against a common enemy.

Sadly, as in all wars, many are in the path of destruction and carnage. For all, I pray daily.

I agree and AMEN! It will get tougher for a time yet, however, Americans seem to be waking up, albeit, slowly. Keep the faith.
